Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the RefreshRank WordPress plugin and the RefreshRank API service ("the Service"). By installing the plugin or creating an account you agree to them.

The Service

RefreshRank analyzes your Google Search Console data to identify content losing search traffic and, on paid plans, generates proposed content refreshes using AI models we host. All proposed changes require your explicit approval inside your WordPress admin before they are applied, and applied changes are saved as WordPress revisions. The plugin itself is open source under GPL-2.0-or-later; these terms cover the hosted Service it connects to.

Accounts and licenses

• A free account covers decay detection for one site. Paid plans set the number of sites and monthly AI rewrites; current limits are shown on the pricing page.
• Your license key authenticates your sites. Keep it confidential; you are responsible for activity under it. We may reset a compromised key on request.
• AppSumo and other promotional codes are single-use and subject to the promotion's own terms.

Acceptable use

• Only connect sites and Search Console properties you own or are authorized to manage.
• No attempts to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or to resell the Service without an agreement with us.
• No use of the Service to generate content that is unlawful or that you do not have rights to modify.

AI output

AI-generated proposals are drafts. You review and approve every change, and you are responsible for the content you publish. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic recovery, or the factual accuracy of generated text - that is what the diff review is for.

Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Lifetime promotional licenses are governed by the promotion's refund policy (e.g. AppSumo's 60-day guarantee).

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may modify features with reasonable notice; if a change materially reduces a paid plan's value, you may cancel for a prorated refund of the unused period.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost rankings.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
